Cute picture book Mia embodies the meaning of Christmas. Cute story with a mysterious twist This is a sweet quiet story of Christmas that is sure to warmth the heart of little girls The main character, who lives alone with her cat and dog, has an interesting adventure in the snow while doing her holiday shopping Her selflessness is rewarded by an expected visit It is not a exuberant book with bright flashy illustrations but instead a soft quiet book of wonder Given that its main character is a very feminine girl, this book may not be well received by many boys. My daughter enjoys this book a lot Sweet, selfless girl pretty illustrations. I really wanted to love it, but I didn t. Mia helps others instead of preparing herself for Christmas She learns the value of service as her new friends step in to help her have a Merry Christmas.
