better equipped to defend my faith in Jesus Christ This book is definitely a favorite of 2017 I didn t like this one as much as The New Answers Book Overall, my thoughts on this book are the same as that one, so see that review In this book, only 9 or so of the 31 questions deals directly with evolution biological, geological, or cosmological The others focus on biblical interpretation and Perhaps I misunderstand, but it seems that sometimes these books use the same uniformitarian assumptions they call invalid They claim that rates for values such as lightspeed, radioactive decay, and genetic mutation may have changed in the past, rendering modern measurements inaccurate, yet they use uniformitarian rates to defend creationism in other instances lunar recession, weakening of Earth s magnetic field, and comet destruction. You can read the entire book online.Fossil record in a very general way the order of fossil succession in the geologic record would reflect the successive undifferentiated organisms first, and others in order of increasing structural complexity.Sediment beds tend to contain, from lowest to highest, marine vertebrates, amphibians, reptiles, and finally birds and mammals The Flood can explain this order 1 Increasing mobility, and therefore increasing ability to postpone inundation and burial 2 Decreasing density and other hydrodynamic factors, which would tend to promote later burial and3 Increasing elevation of habitat and therefore time required for the Flood waters to rise and advance to overtake them.See Doesn t the Order of Fossils in the first, the answers are interesting for those who are interested in approaching the answers and the questions with a mind open to these alternative approaches to origins Approaches may beappropriately written as approach , singular, as in the presumption that the Biblical account of creation, world wide flood, and human dispersal at Babel in Genesis 1 to 11 are literal and accurate from the historical perspective, so that they can serve as valid assumptions underlying valid origin theories explaining the observations of modern empirical science As I said in my review of the first volume, the answers make logical sense, even if not arranged in logical order, and the science focuses on establishing plausibilities, not air tight solutions Some of the same ground is covered again, some with the same information and some with updated information Among the best of the answers in this volume Q 11 a historical review of the origins of the theory that the earth is millions of years old an idea that predates Darwin even though he is often given credit for it Q.20 a logical definition and theory of information that concludes that information can only be created by an intelligent, non material source, and that DNA, as information by definition must have been created by an intelligent non material source.Q.23 an explanation of geological phenomena such as the Grand Canyon and ocean reef formation that doesn t require millions of years, including the halting steps of old earth geologists toward allowing catastrophic events in their theories without accepting Biblical accounts of extraordinary creation and the ultimate catastrophe of a world wide flood.Q.28 an account of the dispersal of the human race at Babel, including a short review of historical genealogies from various world cultures that show lineage tracing back to the sons of Noah Q.31 an explanation for fossil formation and fossil strata ordering within the Biblical timeline and caused by the Genesis flood The fact that this still exists is atrocious Learn to think rationally, rather than reacting emotionally Evolution is a fact, and if you question that perhaps you may still consider taking a boat and finding the edge of this flat earth Ken Ham represents part of a major decline in civilization at a point where there is so much opportunity for the growth of truth. Great answersSeveral great answers but as in my other review some subjects areuseful to some than others at times Mid book got lent out, and am eagerly awaiting finishing Can hardly wait to get 3, just released Excellent read Helpful, informative, and forthright Some chapters are short, but the author provides information for additional resources.
