ADX Praxis carried me along so that I stayed up way too late finishing this novel The author spins a terrific trail of intrigue I expected a straight forward detective story but there was so much woven in Harry Grim the detective is reminiscent of Ross McDonalds classic private eye Lew Archer Grim is tough smart but has his weaknesses Unlike Archer who worked alone Grim has an old army buddy Barton Dirk that adds drive to the story I could see a stand alone novel with Dirk's character I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a good mystery
