You won't be a genius or a gentleman or even slightly knowledgeable about anything remotely worthwhile by this messy collection of tosh You probably will feel very stupid for paying £299 for it in the bargain basement bin A waste of paper IntrestingAnyonewho likes books with interesting facts and slight humour looking forward to the second book this book helped me to sleep at night Interesting read but long winded in parts I don't actually think this book is as bad as its current star rating Its another one of those I type books full of little snip its of interesting informationI could not have sat down and read this is one go but it is very good as a second or third book to fill a spare few moments when you haven't got time to read a full chapter It is informative marginally funny and entertaining The ebook I had had a few proofing errors but other than that I think that this book was good and well worth the £099 I paid for it A book of general and mostly useless knowledge designed to make a man's conversation sound learned and interesting Also includes some pointers for good conversation and succeeding in businessLiked it okay Perhaps I just expected the gentleman they envisaged to be a bit of a em gentlemanFavourite part some of the anti 'how to' advice at the beginning There are sections that provoke genuine interest but for the majority of this text I had to fight the boredom The author's asides and attempts at reflexive humour are very distracting and contribute to the disinterest at timesHowever some good topics are to be found and some fine information is imparted The first section of this book was one of the least funny meant to be funny things I've ever read But it got better as it went on Neither brilliant nor terrible Tom Cutler just isn't anywhere near as funny as he thinks he is I amnowan expert in everything
