Love her I always feel like I have had a cup of tea and heard a good story from an old friend. Quite a mixed bag here, or something for everyone Although I didn t find all the stories interesting, Pilcher s writing is still wonderful, even in short stories, and lets you get right under the skin of some of her protagonists. I think I am just not that in to short stories Cute, but too short for any real development After rereading this book for the umpteenth time, I realized that if I ever write fiction, I want to write like this.
